Boven Digoel Regency Government Receives Agricultural Machine Tools Assistance from DPR Members

Member of Commission IV DPR H. Sulaeman L Hamzah handed over the assistance of agricultural machinery to the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture, Livestock and Fisheries of Boven Digoel witnessed by the Regent and Deputy Regent of Boven Digoel Hengky Yaluwo and Lexi R Wagiu

The assistance for agricultural machinery from DPR RI member Sulaeman Hamzah, as reported by Infopublik, Friday, was in the form of 10 hands spray, five two-wheel tractors and two cultivators.

The Regent of Boven Digoel, Papua, Hengki Yaluwo, thanked the member of Commission IV of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Sulaeman Hamzah, who had provided agricultural tools and machinery to the people of Boven Digoel.

“Indeed, we have a lot of unused land and we have not fully utilized it. The deputy regent and I will try to empower the agriculture in Boven Digoel so that our agriculture can live and be seen by other farmer groups,” he said.

Hengki Yaluwo said that in terms of budget, the district government will definitely provide support for farmers in Boven Digoel.

Hengki also asked for support from members of the DPR RI Commission IV for the Papuan electoral district, H. Sulaeman L. Hamzah, to fight through the state budget or propose to the central government to assist the development in Boven Digoel.

"Our hope is that you will stay with us to make our vision and mission a success, which is to organize and build a village," he concluded.

Meanwhile, member of Commission IV of the DPR RI H. Sulaeman L. Hamzah said that the central government's assistance program for the regions exists every year, but the assistance is divided into several districts.

“Many have been realized and some are still in the process. With the capacity as a member of the DPR RI, I am ready to serve all requests, both from the service and the community. Thus, the synergy between all of us can achieve a welfare that is expected by the community," said Sulaeman Hamzah.
