Regarding the Covid-19 pandemic, the economy and community activities, both on the roads and at the market, are now starting to get crowded.

Social assistance provided by the government in the form of basic necessities as a way to help the community during the pandemic is spread evenly. Mamas and grandmothers in Papua also received assistance during the pandemic.
The Covid-19 vaccination program is also running well, especially in urban areas including Papua. People are more self-aware to follow health protocols and follow vaccinations in an orderly manner.
In general, he said, his party supports the steps to deal with the Covid-19 pandemic and infrastructure development that has been carried out in Papua.
"We also appreciate the success of the Jokowi administration in building infrastructure, roads, dams, irrigation/irrigation, bridges, airports, and the development of border areas and others," he said.
A member of the Papua BMP, Abraham Jempor, added that his party also appreciated the government's success in restoring the national economy which had slumped due to the pandemic. "We encourage the government's success in economic recovery during the pandemic," he said.
