"The Papuan provincial government will continue to monitor the availability and keep the price of goods stable in the community," he said.
He explained that market operations will continue to be carried out during the 2021 Christmas Celebrations and 2022 New Years to contain fluctuations in the price of basic necessities.
"This step is considered very important to save people's purchasing power," he said.
He added that through lower prices than the market, people, especially those with low incomes, are expected to be able to buy basic necessities during this period.
