Kaleidoscope 2021: Series of Brutal Actions for Papuan KKB for a Year, Killing 30 People Starting from TNI to Civilians

The actions of the Papuan armed criminal group (KKB) throughout 2021 were brutal. So far this year, they carried out 92 acts of terror that resulted in dozens of casualties from TNI personnel, Polri and civil society.

11 TNI members who died and 19 were injured, four Polri members and three were injured, and 19 people died and 11 people were injured.
 
There are five areas that have been targeted by the brutality of the Papuan KKB, namely, Yahukimo Regency, Bintang Mountains, Intan Jaya, Puncak and Nduga.

The following is a series of brutal actions of the Papuan KKB during 2021 which killed 30 people from the TNI, Polri and civil society:

1. Shoot TNI Members after Fajr Prayers
 
Two TNI soldiers from Infantry Battalion R 400/BR were shot dead by the Papuan Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Intan Jaya Regency, Friday (22/1/2021). The indiscriminate attack on the Papuan KKB was carried out when TNI soldiers finished their morning prayers.

The two Kusuma soldiers of the nation were Private Roy Vebrianto and Private Dedi Hamdani.

Kapen Kogabwilhan III, Colonel Czi IGN Suriastawa said the two TNI soldiers were fired upon by the KKB indiscriminately. One of them after dawn worship.

2. Papuan Kabinda Falls

The Kabinda of Papua, Posthumous Maj. Gen. Putu Danny, is a high-ranking TNI officer who became a victim of the armed criminal group (KKB). He died in his duties while visiting Dambet Village, Puncak Regency, Papua.
 
Posthumous Major General Putu Danny was hit by a KKB shot when the convoy of the TNI-Polri Task Force with BIN was caught in a gun battle in Dambet Village, Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Sunday (25/4/2021).

3. Shoot Dead Teachers and Burn 3 Schools in Beoga

The Armed Criminal Group (KKB) led by Nau Waker burned three schools, namely an elementary, middle and high school in the Julukoma Village area, Boega District, Puncak Regency, Papua Province. This terrorist act was carried out in the afternoon after shooting dead an elementary school teacher on Thursday (8/4/2021).

This action was carried out by Nau Waker and his members after being hunted by the joint TNI-Polri troops in Operation Nemangkawi in Intan Jaya.

4. Rape Dozens of Girls in Belga

A priest in Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Papua revealed a fact that an armed criminal group (KKB) had raped village girls. The existence of the figures is no longer appreciated by them.

"We (church) pastors are no longer considered. Our village (Beoga) is black because of them (KKB)," said Reverend Jupinus Wama in Julukoma Village, Beoga District, Puncak Regency, Saturday (17/4/2021).

5. Oksamol Police Station Attacked by 1 Policeman Falls

An armed criminal group (KKB) attacked the Oksamol Police Post in the Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua. One member died and three firearms were taken away by the perpetrators.
 
According to information received by iNews.id, the attack occurred on Friday (28/5/2021) early in the morning, at 01.00 WIT. The victim who died was the head of the post on behalf of Brigadier Mario Sanoi.

6. KKB Shoots Dead 3 Peak Residents

The joint TNI-Polri team managed to identify the bodies of three residents of Kampung Niporolome, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua who were shot by terrorists from the armed criminal group (KKB), Friday (4/6/2021).

The three victims who died were the head of the village of Niporolome Patianus Kogoya, Petena Murib (a woman) and Nelius Kogoya.

Meanwhile, three victims of gunshot wounds, namely, Mandis Murib, Lesminus Murib and Jelemina Wanimbo.

7. KKB Shoots 5 Family People at the Peak

Armed criminal groups (KKB) are increasingly brutal. They shot dead five people, namely the village head and his family members.

This shooting incident occurred in Eromaga Village, Omukia District, Puncak Regency, Papua. The victim's name is Petianus Kogoya, a village head of Nipurlema ​​and four members of his family.

8. KKB Shoots 2 Workers and Burns Their Body

Another brutal action was carried out by the Papuan armed criminal group (KKB). The organization that has been labeled a terrorist group killed two workers who built a bridge on the Brazza River, Kribun Village, Dekai District, Yahukimo Regency, Papua, Sunday (22/8/2021) afternoon.
 
The data collected revealed that the two victims who died were Rionaldo Raturoma and Dedi Imam Pamuji. The victim is an employee of PT Indo Papua who is building a bridge on the Brazza River. The location of the incident is about 10 KM from the camp belonging to PT Indo Papua.

9. Four TNI Soldiers Died in Attack by KKB

Four TNI soldiers who died at the Kisor Posramil, Maybrat Regency, Papua were attacked while resting. This incident occurred on Thursday (2/9/2021) early in the morning.

The incident was first reported by Plh Kasdim Maybrat, Major Inf Cahyo Widodo. This attack was carried out by KKB, approximately 50 people.

"The perpetrators numbered 50 people," said Major Cahyo in a statement received by iNews, Thursday morning.

10. Six Health Workers Attacked by KKB

Six health workers became victims of KKB in Kiwirok, Bintang Mountains. Four of them were injured, one person died and one was declared missing.

The TNI and Polri security forces evacuated a health worker (nakes) who fell into a ravine on behalf of Kristina Sampe. The victim survived, but had injuries all over his body.

"The victim was evacuated Wednesday night with injuries, including stab wounds," said the Head of the Bintang Mountains Police, AKBP Cahyo Sukarnito, Thursday (16/9/2021) morning.
