Social Minister Risma Hands Over Healthy Homes for Sentani Flood Victims on 17 August

Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini plans to hand over a healthy house for the victims of the Sentani flash flood, Jayapura Regency, Papua on August 17.

On Friday morning, Risma started the procession of laying the first stone for the construction of the healthy house.

"According to the schedule, we will submit it on August 17, hopefully it can be faster because they have been in the refugee camps for more than three years," said Risma in Doyo Baru, Jayapura Regency, Papua, Friday (14/01).

Risma said the construction of the healthy house was intended for 76 heads of families (KK) affected by the Sentani flash flood.

The inauguration of the healthy house will also be marked by the Indonesian Independence Day ceremony.

"So hopefully we can help our brothers. I hope that people's lives will improve,” said Risma.

In addition, Risma said that her party is trying to make healthy homes not just a place to live, but can be facilitated to support the residents' economy.

Risma also seeks access to cheap electricity in healthy homes, using solar panels.
