The latest statement from Colonel Aqsha regarding the KKB Action Burning Honai Papuans in Ilaga

Kapendam XVII/Cenderawasih Colonel Infenteri Aqsha Erlangga delivered his latest statement regarding the burning of the armed criminal group (KKB) in Puncak Regency, Papua.

Colonel Aqsha said that the TNI would repair the honai belonging to an indigenous Papuan (OAP) on behalf of Koname Murib, which was allegedly burned by the KKB.

Koname's honai in Kago Village, Ilaga District, Puncak Regency, Papua, was burned by KKB on Monday (31/1).

"The plan is that the YR 408/SBH Kodim Task Force will help repair the honai of residents who were burned," Colonel Aqsha said via a message service, Tuesday (1/2).

However, said the former Head of Intel Korem 072/Pamungkas, the TNI first waited for the security situation in Ilaga District to be more conducive before repairing the honai.

"Waiting for the situation to be completely under control," he explained.

Koname's Honai was allegedly burned after a native of the Dani Tribe helped TNI soldiers connect the water channel to the Gome Koramil Post, which was occupied by the Kodim Yonif R 408/SBH Task Force.

The KKB had previously cut off the water channel, so the Kodim Battalion R 408/SBH Task Force had difficulty obtaining clean water.

However, KKB reacted differently to Koname's assistance in connecting the waterways.

There were several groups of people suspected of being from the KKB who burned the honai belonging to Koname Murib.
