According to his statement, the investigation team had asked for information from several TNI soldiers who allegedly knew firsthand the incident of the disappearance of the rifle.
 
Kapendam said that the investigation team preceded the presumption of innocence by conducting a search as carefully and in as much detail as possible.

He appealed to the public to be patient, waiting for the results of the team's investigation, which is now working to collect accurate data.

"If it is proven that the soldiers are guilty, they will be processed according to the law. If the theft of weapons belonging to TNI soldiers is carried out by irresponsible people, the law will also be processed," he said.
