KNPB Hallucinations about DOB “Getting Crazy”

The West Papua National Committee (KNPB) is known to be seeking all means to reject the establishment of a New Autonomous Region (DOB) in Papua. For this action, Papuan youth leaders reminded that the KNPB plan has the potential to violate the law if it opposes the government unilaterally.

In his statement, Ali Kabiay denied that the KNPB's action was a form of criticism, he considered it more if the KNPB had formed a symbol of resistance and opposition to the state. This has further reduced the perception of the KNPB as a pro-separatist group.

“We have to distinguish between criticism and opposition, because criticism is constructive. While what KNPB is doing now is different, they are already against the state. This means that the KNPB will face the law," he said. (10/4)

Ali Kabiay emphasized that, as part of a separatist group, KNPB in its track record has always opposed government policies outright, even though according to him the government's policies are intended to boost the welfare of Papuans.

"The truth will not be seen as true by the KNPB, no matter how good the policy is and how profitable it is for Papuans, this group will definitely reject it," he said.

In his presentation, the Saireri youth leader gave reasons about the KNPB which always opposed government policies. According to him, the most basic thing about the KNPB's rejection is that the group is already worried that its movement will no longer attract the hearts of the Papuan people. Ali said that the KNPB was looking for profit only by selling the humanitarian issues experienced by the Papuans.

"Actually, if the KNPB refuses, it means that the government's policy is right, because they don't want Papua to be developed and prosperous. Because if all of this materializes, then the propaganda and the existence of the separatist movement will no longer sell, even though all of these are their selling points," he added.

The Tabi indigenous youth in Sentani, Alberto, also responded to the response to the rejection of the new autonomous regions by the KNPB, according to him, the KNPB hallucinations regarding the new autonomous regions are getting crazier, because the destruction of the Papuan people because the new autonomous regions conveyed by the KNPB are not basic.

"The destruction of the Papuans due to the expansion of the new autonomous regions, which was conveyed by the KNPB, is very unreasonable, because in several areas in Papua it has been proven that the expansion has resulted in prosperity," he said.

The hallucinations of the KNPB have become so crazy that it is only natural that they are called a group of people who have lost their minds.
