Realization of 1,795 BTS Towers in Papua and West Papua, Evidence of Lintasarta's Commitment to Building the Nation

Since its establishment on April 4, 1988, Lintasarta has become a large company engaged in Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-based communication services.

As an Information and Communication Technology company, Lintasarta's commitment to Developing the Nation continues to be pursued to remote corners of the archipelago.

One of them is realizing the construction of 1,795 BTS (Base Transceiver Station) towers in the provinces of Papua and West Papua.
 
Lintasarta CEO Arya Damar said, Lintasarta together with the Huawei and SEI consortium were tasked with realizing the construction of BTS in 1,795 locations in the Provinces of Papua and West Papua (Central & West),
 
"Especially in the West Papua region, the 4G BTS construction sites are spread across seven districts, namely Maybrat, Raja Ampat, Sorong, South Sorong, Tambrauw, Bintuni Bay, and Wondama Bay," he said.

He further explained that presenting an internet network in the 3T area (underdeveloped, leading and underdeveloped) is one of the important things in supporting the acceleration of national digital transformation to reduce the information gap.
 
"The work process will be carried out in stages in 2021 and 2022, with the aim of realizing digital connectivity that is well integrated in all regions, including in the 3T area," he said.

Lintasarta also supports the digital transformation agenda echoed by the government in order to create equitable access to communication and information throughout Indonesia.

Through the application of digital transformation, access to transformation, communication, education, and transaction systems in the 3T region can be carried out more easily, quickly with other regions in the implementation of digital transformation programs through the construction of 4G BTS.
