Encourage Tourism and Culture, TIFA 2022 Timika Inside Festival of Art Held

In order to develop tourism and local culture in Mimika Regency, TIFA 2022 Timika Inside Festival of Art was held.

The activity which was held at the Emeneme Yauware Building, Timika, Friday (6/5/2022) around 09:00 WIT took the theme "Harmonization of Mimika Culture for the Archipelago".
 
This activity was held by Sanngar Amute Wapuri-Noken Star Papua Indonesia, presenting hundreds of artists.

The purpose of this activity is to introduce tourism and culture in Mimika to other regions that the culture in Mimika is very unique.
 
"I hope this activity involves everyone and is well publicized to encourage it to become a national event," said Deputy Regent of Mimika, Johannes Rettob to Tribun-Papua.com, Friday (6/5/2022).

He said that this event was attended by art groups throughout Mimika Regency where the Ministry of Tourism had designated this event as an annual event.
 
"Now this event has not been widely publicized. However, we will encourage tourism and culture so that it continues to grow," he said.

The Deputy Regent continued, this event directly increases the economic movement of the community so that it increases.

"The Mimika Regency Government has not been fully involved, but in the future this event will be the flagship event of the Mimika Regency," he said.

It is said, TIFA 2022 Timika Inside Festival of Art is an interesting thing and only exists in Timika.

"I hope this event will also have an impact on Mimika's development.
