Ensure Good Services in the Community, Jayapura Regent: Pharmacy Becomes a Strategic Partner

Jayapura Regent Mathius Awoitauw said that pharmacy is a strategic partner of the government to ensure that services in the community can run well.

According to Regent Mathius, this is in accordance with the mandate in government regulation No. 51 of 2009, concerning pharmaceutical work.

"The handling of the pandemic can run consistently, including the strategy of protecting the community through vaccines. Logistics handling is not easy to reach areas in the Papua Province in general," said Regent Mathius when giving a speech at the Advance Leadership Training of Pharmacists in Papua Province, in Sentani, Jayapura Jayapura Regency. , Monday (16/5/2022).
 
Pharmacists have worked to ensure that all health logistics reach the community so far the Covid-19 green zone in Jayapura Regency.

He said the government could not run without the support of all parties, such as the management of treatment readiness, use of drugs, handling of drug preparations, both food and beverages as well as chemicals and other health efforts in the community.
 
"Being a leader must be ready to face many problems, various complaints, and also various things in the field," he said.
 
According to him, leadership training is important to equip and prepare managerial, insight, to ensure the community gets the best service.

"We are facing extraordinary challenges ahead in the era of technological development, there must be innovation and collaboration, so that we can compete," he said.
 
He explained, faith in God is the most important thing but everyone has things to make choices.

This then encourages change and cannot be avoided so that pharmaceuticals are also required to open up and collaborate with various sciences, which then becomes a challenge to be faced.

"So we need support from various parties, the government thanks all pharmacists in extraordinary limitations in Papua with difficult methods and inadequate facilities, but we continue to work standing in front of facing various challenges," he concluded.
