Jayapura City Police asked new residents to immediately report themselves

The Jayapura City Police (Polresta) appealed to the people of Jayapura City after Lebaran homecoming who brought relatives to immediately report to the RT, RW or lurah for proper data.
 
Jayapura City Police Chief Kombes Pol Gustav R Urbinas, in Jayapura, Thursday, said the potential to bring relatives from outside the city still exists.
 
"For this reason, people who bring it please report it to prevent unwanted things," he said.
 
According to Urbinas, this also prevents the entry of radicalism and terrorism and other general crimes from outside the city.
 
"We will continue to detect crimes from outside, for that we expect cooperation from the community and religious leaders," he said again.
 
He explained, however, that until now religious tolerance is still very conducive, only that other general crimes are still a threat.
 
"For this reason, the residents of Jayapura City must continue to be vigilant about their surrounding environment," he said again.
