Backflow for Eid, Pelni Manokwari prepares six ships
PT Pelni (Persero) Manokwari Branch, West Papua ensured to prepare six operational vessels to serve the return flow of Lebaran 2022 from west to east Indonesia starting Wednesday (4/5).
Head of Pelni Manokwari branch, Djunaidi Idrus, in Manokwari, Wednesday (4/5), said six ships on the Manokwari route are ready to serve Lebaran return flows from today to one week ahead.
A total of six Pelni ships on the Manokwari route that will serve the return flow for Lebaran 2022, including the Motor Ship (KM) Sinabung, KM Gunung Dempo, KM Labobar, KM Tidar, KM Ciremai, and KM Sirimau.
On Wednesday (4/5) morning, KM Sinabung arrived at Manokwari Harbor and continued the cruise schedule for Biak-Jayapura, while on Thursday (5/5) it would be followed by KM Gunung Dempo from Manokwari to Wasior-Nabire-Jayapura.
He also appealed to prospective passengers on the Pelni ship from and to Manokwari, West Papua to pay attention to health protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 on the return flow of Eid 2022.
"Still in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, so health protocols and inspection of vaccination documents through the PeduliLindung application are still enforced at the Manokwari Seaport," said Djunaidi Idrus.
