Thousands of GIDI Congregations in Bogo Region Celebrate the Entry of the Gospel in Bokondini

Thousands of GIDI congregations in the Bogo Region celebrated the entry of the 66th Gospel in Bokondini, Tolikara Regency.

The celebration of the entry of the Bible is centered on the entrance of the Gospel in the APCM area of Bokondini, Tolikara Regency, Sunday (1/5).
 
The celebration of the entry of the Gospel was commemorated in the form of a lively worship service with praises brought by the congregation.

Thousands of congregants from 10 Klasis Bogo Region and 2 Klasis from Bokondini solemnly participated in the celebration from start to finish.

Present at the thanksgiving celebration were the Regent of Central Mamberamo Regency Ricky Ham Pagawak (RHP), the Secretary of the Central Mamberamo Egypt Yikwa, the Head of the Bogo Region Pastor Potias Pagawak, pastors and congregations from 10 Klasis and 2 Klasis from Bokondini.

At the end of the service, the birthday cake was cut by GIDI advisor, Pastor Keboba Wanimbo, Regent of Central Mamberamo Ricky Ham Pagawak and Head of Bogo Region, Reverend Potias Pagawak.

The Regent of RHP said that at this old age the congregation's faith should grow and deepen in accordance with the church's vision and mission that evangelism has not been completed yet must be realized.

"This is proven by the way GIDI's people have to go out and evangelize people who have not yet accepted the gospel," he said.

For this reason, the Regent of RHP invited GIDI cadres in Central Mamberamo and other districts where the majority of GIDI is responsible for church building and evangelism.

"This church is a local, indigenous church, a church that was born without parents, so the responsibility to raise an evangelical church is on our shoulders," he said.

"Today's church cadres, there are governors, leaders of the MRP, leaders of the Provincial DPR, regents and district/city DPRs.
 
Must unite so that this church is counted as one of the churches that has great power. This power can be intertwined, run if all unite, "he added.

With this anniversary, the Regent of RHP hopes that the highest leadership of GIDI and his staff can have a bigger vision to evangelize in accordance with the church's vision and mission that evangelism is not finished.

The Regent of RHP emphasized that the Central Mamberamo District Government itself would, in principle, fully support the ministry and evangelism because this district was born because of a recommendation from the church.

On that occasion, the Regent of RHP expressed his gratitude for the trust as chairman of the committee for the XIX conference 4 years ago, which was officially dissolved by the GIDI Advisor, Reverend Keboba Wanimbo.

The Head of the Bogo Region, Pastor Potias Pagawak, said he was grateful because the congregation was able to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the entry of the Gospel.

According to him, on this anniversary, I hope the congregation's spirituality will be more mature. Likewise with the services carried out to evangelism which is currently being carried out not only in Papua, outside Papua, even in other parts of the world.

"This means that the gospel brought by the missionaries in Bokondini, is being proclaimed to various corners of the world," he said.
