UT Jayapura Forms Superior Papuan Human Resources

The Director of UPBJJ-Jayapura Open University, Drs Mujadi M.Pd said that UT was established to encourage human resources from remote areas to urban areas, there was no difference. In addition, UT Jayapura has also been proven to form superior Papuan human resources after approximately 16 already in Papua.

"UT has helped a lot in accelerating the production of various scholars from remote areas of the country and also in Papua," said Mujadi when he was a resource person in a discussion with the Editor of Cenderawasih Pos which was also broadcast on Youtebe Cepos TV.

Juadi added that UT was a State University since its inauguration. However, in the past, the management was in the form of a Satker, but over time, in order to improve performance, UT eventually became a PTN-BH.

“We have used all digital and even signed using barcode. UT provides convenience in studying because students determine how long they want to study or graduate, or when to study and also adjust where they work, "he added.

At the Open University, no education is interrupted and it is certain that there are no students who are clueless because studying at UT is 100 percent using technology.

“UT does not have a starting fee, only an admission fee of Rp. 100,000, credits and modules which are very cheap because we are subsidized by the government. We prioritize service. So that people who don't know, please come and get the advantages of UT compared to other universities," he added.

In Papua itself, UT has students throughout Papua and has been present for more than 16 years. "We have been proven to form superior Papuan human resources," he concluded.
