Bank Papua - Balai Prasarana Settlement Synergy for infrastructure funds

The Regional Development Bank (BPD) of Papua Province together with the local Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center collaborated and synergized by signing a memorandum of understanding on the management and distribution of funds for infrastructure programs in Bumi Cenderawasih.
 
Bank Papua Business Director Sabar Sabyan in Jayapura, Wednesday, said the collaboration was a continuation of the previous year.
 
"This year we are managing funds for four programs from the Ministry of PUPR, Directorate General of Human Settlements, the Papua Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center," said Sabar Sabyan.
 
According to Sabar, the four programs are firstly the management and distribution of Community-Based Infrastructure (IBM) funds, the second is Environmental Sanitation for Religious Education (LPK) and the Local Domestic Wastewater Management System (SPALD-S) of Papua Province for Fiscal Year 2022.
 
"Then the third distribution of Regional Social Infrastructure Development (PISEW) funds, the fourth management and distribution of funds for the City Without Slums (KOTAKU) program in Papua Province for the 2022 Fiscal Year," he said.
 
Meanwhile, the Head of the Papua Provincial Settlement Infrastructure Center, Corneles Sagrim, said he chose Bank Papua because branch offices are all over Papua, thus providing convenience in terms of budget.
 
"This is also our support so that Bank Papua can exist, especially so far everything is going well," he said.
 
He explained that the four programs are infrastructure-based, the process of which starts from planning to implementation, including later utilization from the community itself.
 
"So if there are self-help groups that are formed to manage this budget, it will be very easy because we have collaborated with Bank Papua to coordinate related to the disbursement process and avoid budget misuse at lower levels," said Corneles Sagrim.
