BNI Manokwari: invite the public to take advantage of KUR

The Head of the Indonesian National Bank (BNI) Branch Manokwari invites the people of West Papua to take advantage of financing from the People's Business Credit (KUR) rather than being trapped in illegal online loans (Pinjol) for business development.

Head of BNI Manokwari Branch, Danel Kereh in Manokwari, Monday, said that the KUR disbursement process for the community has been facilitated with low interest rates and clear legality.

"If they need business capital, the public can take advantage of the KUR provided by the state through banks," said Danel.

KUR, he continued, is a program prepared by the government to help access financing for micro, small and medium enterprises that are channeled through financial institutions such as BNI.

"As a bank, we recommend that KUR is better than illegal online loans because in terms of interest and legality it is more secure," said Danel.

Currently, the unsecured loan product in the form of the 2022 BNI KUR is offered at a low interest rate of 0.2 percent per month or 0.6 percent per year.

He also ensures that the use of KUR is only for MSMEs as business capital and for business expansion, not for consumptive things.

"Business credit should be for business, not to be misused for consumptive needs," he explained.
