Provincial Government Appreciates and Supports Three new autonomous regions in Papua

Assistant I for Administration for the Regional Secretary of the Papua Province, Doren Wakerkwa, admitted that the Papuan Provincial Government appreciates and supports the three New Autonomous Regions (DOB) in Papua.

"We came to Nabire together to see how the community was progressing and enthusiastically supported the expansion," said Doren Wakerkwa.

Doren admitted, after seeing firsthand, it turned out that the people's will was very large to accept the Province of Central Papua. Therefore, he hopes that in the future all people in Central Papua will unite to advance it.
 
Doren also appreciated the Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, John Wempi Watipo, who had handed over assets and reviewed the construction site for the Central Papua Governor's Office.

"We hope that the Papuan people unite to build ourselves on the three new autonomous regions," said Doren.
 
Doren said, after visiting Nabire, part of Central Papua. It will continue to Jayawijaya and Merauke. "We will continue to Jayawijaya and Merauke, hopefully these three provinces have real accessibility to build themselves together towards the welfare of their people, especially indigenous Papuans," he said.

On that occasion, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs John Wempi Wetipo also invited all parties to support the expansion of Central Papua. In Nabire, the Deputy Minister held face-to-face meetings with the Regent and Forkopimda along with community leaders, religious leaders, and traditional leaders throughout Central Papua at the Guest House of the Nabire Regency Government, Monday (25/7).

The face-to-face event was attended by Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives Komarudin Watubun, Assistant I for Governance of the Papua Regional Secretary Doren Wakerkwa and Assistant II for the Economy and Welfare of the Papua Regional Secretary Muhammad Musa'ad along with the head of the relevant OPD within the Papua Provincial Government.
