Bappenas Calls Sio Papua Application Data for Jayapura Regency Quite Accurate

The National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) assesses that the Sio Papua application in Jayapura Regency has fairly good data accuracy.

This was conveyed by the Coordinator of Poverty Data and Analysis, Directorate of Poverty Reduction and Community Empowerment at Bappenas, Camoxs Widarya at the Jayapura Regent's Office, Sentani Kota District, Wednesday (3/7/2022).

It is known, in 2020, the Village Administration and Information System (SAIK) changed to the SIO Papua application (Indigenous Papuan Information System).
 
This application presents disaggregated data between Indigenous Papuans (OAP) and non-Papuans.

The arrival of Widarya and his team to Jayapura to conduct an assessment and explore collaboration on the Sio Papua Application in Jayapura Regency.

"We are conducting an assessment related to development which is Indonesia's current problem, namely the availability of data," he said at the Regent's Office, Sentani City District, Wednesday (3/7/2022).

According to him, the problem is not only in the data held, but the data being updated during program curation.

According to him, generally the regional concern is quite low for updating and repairing data.

However, the data on the Sio Papua application in Jayapura Regency is considered quite good.
 
Responding to the government's plan to build socio-economic registration, his party took steps to record all residents carried out by the village government.

It is hoped that the updated data can help the government at the national level realize One Indonesia Data.

Data from the village government will be used at the district, provincial and national levels to improve data in line with the government's work plan since 2021.
 
Data transformation is seen as an effort to reform the social protection system.
 
Camoxs Widarya said the data he found in the regions so far is still not valid.

The accuracy is mediocre.

"Previously we went to Supiori and several villages have used the application as well, this is a good thing so that when development is carried out it will target the right target," he explained.
 
For your information, the Sio Papua application is a data collection device for villages and sub-districts throughout the Papua region.

The goal is to improve the quality of data management and basic village information so that it can support government administration.
