The Papuan Provincial Government will hold a ceremony for the 2022 Indonesian Independence Day at the Lukas Enembe Stadium

The Papua Provincial Government plans to hold a ceremony for the 77th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, which is located in Harapan Village, Jayapura Regency.

Assistant for the Economy and People's Welfare of the Regional Secretariat of Papua Muhammad Musaad in Jayapura, Thursday, said this was based on the direction of the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe, so that his party made some careful preparations.

"This is a new format that we use, because the Lukas Enembe Stadium itself is a government asset that can be utilized," he said.

According to Musaad, all the venues that have been built and used for PON can also be used for other purposes. "It is centered on the Lukas Enembe Stadium in the hope of increasing the splendor of the 17 August anniversary," he said.

He explained that besides that, his party also said that it would not interfere with the activities of other residents during the ceremony on August 17, 2022. "Because the Lukas Enembe Stadium has a large parking area," he said again.
