Papua Provincial Government Encourages Enhanced Seaweed Development in 3 Regencies

The Papuan Provincial Government (Pemprov) continues to encourage the development of seaweed cultivation in 3 regencies where it is cultivated, namely Biak, Supiori and Yapen Islands districts.
 
This was conveyed by the Head of the Papua Province Maritime and Fisheries Service, Iman Djuniawal, to Tribun-Papua.com, Tuesday (2/8/2022) at the Papua Diskominfo Hall.
 
"Three districts are designated for the development of seaweed cultivation until now, its development continues to increase," he said.

Furthermore, Iman explained, the area that became the center of cultivation was located on Padaido Island in Biak Numfor Regency, then Supiori and Yapen Islands in two areas including Ambai and Sarwandori Village in Kosiwo District.
 
"For this reason, we hope that the cultivation process will continue to be improved. The local government must provide support," he asked.

So that in the future, the development of seaweed that is currently being carried out by cultivators will give extraordinary results.
