Regent of Jayapura, Mathius Awoitauw Invites Community to Collaborate to Build a Golden Generation of Papua

Education cannot be limited by any space, and collaboration with various parties is needed to build the golden generation of Papua.

This was said by the Regent of Jayapura, Mathius Awoitauw when launching custom attributes, hats and nokens as well as local content of the mother tongue at SDN Inpres Abeale 1 and 2 Sentani, Friday (5/8/2022).
 
According to him, at this time, everyone is talking about being free to learn, and the Papuan people should have entered a new era where there are no more barriers in this world.

Therefore it is necessary to collaborate with various parties to educate the nation's children, so that their horizons are wider while maintaining their identity.

Furthermore, Mathius said, the launching event for custom attributes, hats and nokens as well as local content of mother tongue at SD Negeri Inpres Abeale 1 and 2 Sentani is a new history in Jayapura Regency, Papua Province.
 
"This event is a tangible form that is carried out to provide new insights to our children about identity and culture as a basis for building attitudes and behavior in the future," he explained.

He hopes that later these activities will be continued to other schools in Jayapura Regency, Papua Province.
 
"This activity is not only carried out at SD Abeale 1 and 2, but to other schools so that this cultural atmosphere can continue to exist in our school environment so that we can show that we love our customs and culture," he said.
