The Jayapura City Government encourages MSMEs to show attractive product results

The City Government (Pemkot) of Jayapura, Papua Province encourages Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to show more attractive product results during the Papua Coffee Festival which took place at Cenderawasih GOR, Jayapura City.

Assistant I for the Economy and Development of Jayapura City, Widi Hartanti, told Antara in Jayapura, Wednesday, saying that the presence of this festival could be a marketing event for the coffee business which is dominated by young people.

"So we hope MSMEs can be creative starting from the way of presentation, taste and product modification so that it is even more interesting for guests or visitors who come," he said.

According to Hartanti, the creations displayed by MSME actors in this activity can help increase economic transactions in Papua, especially the City of Jayapura.

Therefore, his party appreciates the implementation of the Papua Coffee Festival which will be held by the Papua Province Representative Office of Bank Indonesia (BI), which will take place on 23-27 August 2022.

He explained that the event was a golden opportunity for MSMEs in Jayapura City to promote the products of Bumi Cenderawasih to be better known throughout the country.

He also hopes that in the future the Papua coffee festival will continue with the support of collaboration with all related parties.

The implementation of the Papua Coffee Festival at the BI Papua Representative Office has collaborated with 60 MSMEs in conjunction with the implementation of the Proudly Made in Indonesia National Movement (Gernas BBI).
