The Manokwari government handed over a decree to appoint 545 first aid teachers

The Government of Manokwari Regency, West Papua submitted 545 Decrees (SK) on the appointment of Government Employee teachers with Work Agreements (P3K), Monday.

Manokwari Regent Hermus Indou handed over the first aid teacher's decree symbolically at the Aston Niu Manokwari Hotel, accompanied by a number of local officials such as Deputy Regent Edi Budoyo and Regional Secretary Henri Sembiring and Head of the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Bima Haria Wibisana.
 
Hermus stated that the issuance of the first aid teacher decree at the same time resolves the fate of teachers in Manokwari who have been waiting for clarity of fate for a long time.
 
He hopes that teachers will strive to build a good education system. Good education is considered to be one of the important elements in regional development because it can affect sustainable economic growth.
 
Hermus explained that the first aid teachers who received the decree that day came from two batches of 551 people. Six of them did not pass because some died and some did not re-register their files at the final stage.
 
"We still need about 240 more formations for teachers. Hopefully in the near future there will be more teacher appointments for those who have not had the opportunity to be appointed as first aid workers," Hermus hoped.
 
Head of BKN Bima Haria Wibisana hopes that teachers who are appointed as first aid workers will not stop learning either by forming teams or independently using internet technology.
 
"Whether there is an order or there is no order, you have to learn. Because when you stop learning, that's where you will stop educating the nation's life," said Bima.
 
Bima added that first aid workers have no difference with Civil Servants, both in terms of salary and benefits. So that the teacher is asked to be enthusiastic and give the best, wherever the teacher devotes himself.
 
He emphasized that teachers with first aid status still have their own value because in several state institutions important positions are held by people with first aid status.
