PLN Papua: now the people of Pegubin Regency enjoy electricity for 24 hours

PT PLN Regional Main Unit (UIW) Papua and West Papua said that now people in three districts in the Bintang Mountains Regency (Pegubin), Papua can enjoy electricity for 24 hours, as a gift on the 77th National Electricity Day.
 
General Manager of PT PLN (Persero) Parent Unit for Papua and West Papua Region, Budiono in a press release in Jayapura, Saturday, said that the three districts that have been able to enjoy electricity for 24 hours are Kalomdol, Oksibil and Serambakon Districts.
 
"Previously, people only enjoyed electricity for six hours," he said.
 
According to Budiono, the three districts are supplied directly by the Dabolding Diesel Power Plant (PLTD) with a capacity of 2x500 kW and the Hybrid Solar Power Plant (PLTS) with a capacity of 2x60 kW so that they can generate electricity for 24 hours.
 
"With this, a total of 980 customers spread across Imik Village, Arinkop Village, Dabolding Village, Okmakot Village, Mabilabol Village, Kabiding Village, Banumdol Village, Kutdol Village and Yapimakot Village have received direct PLN electricity services," he said.
 
He explained that in electrification, his party always needs support and synergy from various parties in realizing a reliable electricity system.
 
"We are happy because in the midst of joy the presence of PLN for 77 years can also be present to help the people in Pegubin Regency," he said again.
 
He added that his party was making improvements in terms of the electricity system as well as maintaining reliability and improving services so that it was hoped that the support from the community would support all electrical assets that were already available.
 
Just to note, previously there was an Operation Handover (STO) between PLN and the Gunung Bintang Regency Government to coincide with the 77th National Electricity Day.

The Regent of the Bintang Mountains, Spei Yan Bidana, the Head of the Ketengban Tribe Timon Levi and the Director of Planning and Development of EBTKE Infrastructure, Hendra Iswahyudi, took place in the courtyard of the Kalomdol District, Bintang Mountains Regency, Papua, Thursday (27/10).
