Investigate Luke Enembe's Privet Jet Rental, KPK Examines the Statement of the President Director of RDG

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) continues to investigate allegations of renting and using a private jet by the suspect in the alleged bribery and gratuity case against the Governor of Papua, Lukas Enembe (LE).

The use of this private jet was investigated by KPK investigators through an examination of the President Director (President) of PT RDG Airlines, Gibbrael Isaak.

Head of KPK Reporting Section Ali Fikri said, Isaak was examined by the anti-corruption agency as a witness today, Tuesday (22/11/2022) at the KPK's Red and White Building, Jakarta.

"The witness was present and studied for his knowledge, among others related to the alleged rental and use of a private jet by suspect LE," said Ali Fikri in his statement, Tuesday.

It is known that this is the second time Gabriel has been summoned by the KPK, after previously he did not attend the summons of the anti-corruption agency last Tuesday (4/10).

KPK investigators also studied Lukas Enembe's meetings with a number of contractors working on projects at the Papua Provincial Government.

This experience was carried out through the examination of a witness from the Hamadi Entrop Project Working Group, Doren Wakerwa.

"The witness was present and explored his knowledge, among other things related to facilitating meetings between the suspect LE and several contractors working on projects at the Papua Provincial Government," he said.

Meanwhile, Ali Fikri said there were still seven witnesses who were absent from the summons of the investigation team.

They are NG Hok Lam, a private company; Daniel Christian Lewi, dealer/owner of Dablin Motor – Car Buying and Selling; Muhammad Chusnul Khuluqi, ATM Maintenance Advantage employee.

Then Teuku Hamzah Husen, private employee/Director of PT Rinaldi Acbasindo - Sea Transportation Services; and Tika Putri Ardiani, a housewife.

In this regard, the Investigative Team, continued Ali, will immediately reschedule and summon the witnesses.

"And the KPK reminds us to be cooperative," said Ali Fikri.

As previously reported, the KPK has named Lukas Enembe as a suspect in the alleged bribery and gratuity case for infrastructure projects in Papua Province.

However, so far the KPK has not officially announced the appointment of the Governor of Papua and the case against him.

Apart from that, the examination of Lukas was tough. The KPK has already sent a summons against Lukas, but until the second summons letter on 26 September 2022, Lukas was uncooperative in attending the investigator's examination, citing illness.

The investigation team finally met Lukas Enembe at his residence, Jayapura City, Papua, Thursday (3/11), in the framework of examining the case.

The team consisting of KPK doctors and the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) also met Lukas Enembe for a health check.

Lukas Enembe has also been prevented from traveling abroad for six months from 7 September 2022 to 7 March 2023.
