The secretary of the Jayapura City Education Office, Abdul Majid told reporters that the Government through the Jayapura City Education Office appreciates the implementation of student creative exhibition activities in implementing the Pancasila student profile as a driving school that implements the independent curriculum in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

"I appreciate the togetherness and cohesiveness of the entire board of teachers, school principals as well as students in improving the quality of education as an implementation of the profile of Pancasila students at SMP N 1 Jayapura," said Abdul Majid, Secretary of the Jayapura City Education and Culture Office, during a nokenlive interview, on Thursday , (17/11/22).

In the same place, Purnama Sinaga, the Principal of SMP N 1 Jayapura, explained that this activity was a form of strengthening the Pancasila student profile program, while also inviting students to be more creative and innovative in order to foster a spirit of independence in competing both in the academic field, including extracurricular activities. .

"As educators, we hope that this activity will serve as an example to other schools which are also included as driving schools to be implemented for their students," concluded Sinaga.

He added that this activity was attended by all students from grade 7 to grade 9 and was attended by the Jayapura City Education and Culture Office, SMP N 1 Jayapura alumni, SMP Supervisors, School Committee Representatives, and parents of students.

To note, the Student Creative Exhibition this time raised Papuan local wisdom, in which all processed food products are made from local foods such as packaged papeda, taro, petatas, and pudding made from sago, as well as banana chips, and various cakes and juice drinks. Not only that, there are also handicrafts in the form of cassowary hats and various other handicrafts.
