Pertamina Papua distributes aid to victims of the Tanjung Ria Jayapura market fire



PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku distributed 135 basic food packages as a form of concern for the people affected by the fire disaster at the Tanjung Ria Inpres Market, Jayapura City, Papua on Saturday (12/11).
 
Communication and CSR Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku Edi Mangun in a press release in Jayapura, Monday said that his party was moving quickly to distribute the assistance because the location of the incident was still close to the work environment.
 
"We, together with part of the CSR function, are also concerned about the disaster that occurred. We hope that this assistance can ease the burden on the victims during the disaster recovery period," he said.

According to Edi, based on the available data, the incident caused 38 heads of families to flee and lose their homes.
 
"So this assistance is the Company's Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) to residents affected by the fire that occurred in Pertamina's ring one location area," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of RT 01 Tanjung Ria, Rosmiarty Genda, expressed his gratitude to Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Papua Maluku for responding to the disaster by distributing aid to communities affected by the fires.
 
"Thank you very much to Pertamina, which coordinated directly when the fire occurred and participated in monitoring the condition and condition of the victims," he said.
 
Just to note, previously the provision of basic necessities to people affected by the fire at the Tanjung Ria Presidential Market, Jayapura City, Papua on Sunday (13/11).
