"I have seen it myself in Tingginambut, Puncak Jaya Regency, there are schools that have six classes, but only three teachers and it is also rarely entered. So the members (police) assigned there must have teaching skills, "he said.

Meanwhile, members of the Indonesian Republic of Papua-Papua New Guinea Border Security Task Force (Satgas Pamtas RI-PNG) Infantry Raider Infantry Battalion (Battalion MR) 411 / Pdw Kostrad, were called to help improve knowledge to elementary school students in the border region.

With the intention to take part in educating students in the border area, members of the TNI who were at the Kout Post also shared their knowledge. With great joy, students in grades 3 and 4 at SD YPK Sota received lessons in reading, writing and arithmetic.

Wadansatgas Pamtas Yonif MR 411 / Pdw Kostrad Major Inf Ilham Datu Ramang in Elikobel District, Merauke Regency, Papua, Wednesday (4/9/2019) said that this activity was a Task Force program, besides carrying out its main task of maintaining security at the RI-PNG border also participate in educating school children in the assignment place.

"During the pre-service training, the soldiers were equipped with knowledge as students, so that they were scientifically and mentally prepared for it. Therefore, the provisions and procedures for teaching that are good and easily understood by students that they get, become capital to be applied in this assignment area, "he explained.

Major Inf Ilham hopes that the presence of Satgas personnel in schools can increase the motivation and enthusiasm of students in attending lessons, and can play a role in advancing education in border areas as well as education in urban areas, because they are the next generation of the Indonesian people.

Meanwhile, the Principal of the YPK Elementary School, Sota Semuel Supusepa, S. Pd., Expressed his gratitude to members of the TNI Task Force Battalion MR 411 / Pdw Kostrad who had been willing to help teach. "Hopefully the students in our school will be more enthusiastic and motivated to continue learning and achieve the highest achievements," he said.

Children who were taught by the TNI and POLRI were no less pleased with this program. Children in Banti, Kimbeli, and Opitawak villages, Tembagapura District, Tembagapura District, Mimika, Papua, were very pleased with the 'Pi Teaching Police' program carried out by Tembagapura Sector Police.

Alvio Uamang, a child in Kampung Banti 2 said he was very happy with the presence of the police teaching in their village. Because in addition to teaching, the police also invited them to play and distribute notebooks.

"I am very happy with our teaching police father. Because what is taught is coloring and I am given a coloring tool," Alvio said.
