"We all know that the Indonesian nation has been independent since August 17, 1945 and Papua is now integrated with Indonesia. According to Maurits, on December 1 it was the day before Christmas, it was hoped that the community could carry out positive activities to welcome Christmas. Maurits also said that the security forces must be able to work together with all elements of society, especially through traditional leaders, religion, community, youth, and indigenous community institutions, in order to maintain mutual security. So that the Kamtibmas situation in the Manokwari area will remain well maintained, safe and secure.

"Security is not only the duties and responsibilities of the security forces, both TNI and Polri, but we are obliged to help, including from all elements of the community to help. For that we all must be able to understand each other and always coordinate, so that if a problem occurs, it can be resolved immediately, "explained Maurits.

Until now, said Maurits, the general security situation in the Manokwari region has been safe and conducive, it is hoped that all communities can play an active role to help maintain security stability in West Papua, especially in Manokwari to remain safe.
