Tembagapura Sector Police personnel conducted the Pi Ajar Police activity, which was followed by around 33 children from Kampung Banti, Opitawak and Kampung Kimbeli. The Pi Teaching Police Activity aims to encourage and motivate students to take part in the Pi Teaching Police Program in school.
Because children who are in the Waa Banti Village in Tembagapura District after so long their schooling is controlled by Papuan separatist groups which causes teachers to stop teaching because of trauma.
Located on the 68th Mille Soccer Field (Sport Hall), the activity was led directly by Tembagapura Police Chief AKP Hermanto, SH. SIK accompanied by Tembagapura Police personnel included Aiptu Fitra Jaya, Bripka Albert, Brigadier Tasri and Bripda Alfin.
In the activity, members carried out a joint sports activity in the form of soccer and were attended by all students with great enthusiasm so that the enthusiasm of the teachers increased to provide a deeper understanding of the world of football.
The Tembagapura Police Chief said that the Pi Ajar Police activity was aimed at encouraging and motivating students to take part in the Pi Teaching Police Program in schools for children in Kampung Waa Banti, Tembagapura District.
"Our hope is that with this activity Tembagapura District children will be more active and more enthusiastic in participating in active lessons not only given by the Pi Teaching Police but also lessons given through educational schools, so that they have the ability in the future," AKP said Hermanto.
Pi Teaching Police activities are carried out every 2 times a week so members can often meet with children and play together. During the activity which took about an hour, nothing prominent was found so the situation was safe until the activity was finished.
