As a form of TNI's concern for the residents of Kampung Kondo on the RI-PNG border which is located in the interior, the RI-PNG Task Force Battalion MR 411 / Pdw Kostrad Pos Kondo, led by Danpos Letda Inf Ulivo Dicky Pambudi, S.Tr. (Han), distributing suitable clothing to the community of Kampung Kondo, Naukenjerai District, Kab. Merauke, Papua.
"This activity is a form of TNI's concern for the residents of Kampo Kondo on the RI-PNG border which is located in the interior, we invite residents to come to the Kondo Post and choose suitable clothes that are available as needed," Letda Inf Ulivo said when contacted via radio .
Compared to other villages that have slowly followed the development of modern life, the people in Kondo Village still need a lot of attention, because food and clothing needs are still lacking.
"Most of the Kondo Kampung community are Kanum Tribe whose majority of their livelihood is hunting, fishing and gardening. The result is only enough to meet daily food needs so that the clothing needs still require the help of other parties, "he explained.
Mama Esterina Mbanggu (48 years old), who also received assistance in proper clothing from the Kondo Post, expressed her gratitude for the care carried out by the Task Force Battalion MR 411 / Pdw Kostrad in overcoming residents' difficulties.
"The TNI fathers are very concerned with the local residents and the assistance of clothing provided is very helpful and useful, thank you Kondo for always bringing happiness to us people in the interior of Papua," he said.
