MRP Supports Otsus Papua

Chairman of the Red and White Movement Institute in Papua and West Papua Simion Ohee, together with the legal aid agency Forpek Nusantara, the truth defense forum, held a demonstration on the support of Special Autonomy volume II in the courtyard of the Papua People's Assembly (MRP) office in Kotaraja.

Chairperson of the Red and White Movement Institute in Papua and West Papua Semion Ohee read out 16 calls in their underlying thinking to support and continue the Otsus Papua. According to him, Otsus is a blessing from God that the people of Papua should be grateful for, it's just that there are political elite players who have played their role and have enjoyed the results and then do not want to be responsible. So that the RDP activities will be carried out in Jayapura Regency, the indigenous people refuse, because the people in the Regency Jayapura supports Otsus for the continuation of Otsus.

Just to note, the continued demonstration of Otsus volume II carried out by the Red and White Movement Institute in Papua and West Papua together with the legal aid agency Forpek Nusantara, the truth defender forum, was carried out peacefully and in an orderly manner followed by approximately 30 people.

During this peaceful demonstration, three members of the MRP were also met, Rev. Nikolas Deai. MH., Minggus Madai, SH. , and Steady Nef Penggu, ST.h., they heard directly the aspirations of the demonstrators, then the Chairperson of the Red and White Movement Institute in Papua and West Papua Semion Ohee submitted an appeal letter which would then be given to the Chair of the MRP and a joint discussion was held.
