The postponement of the implementation of PON XX, which is planned to be held on October 20 to November 2, 2020, was shifted to October 2-15 2021. This was agreed upon in a limited meeting with President Joko Widodo and announced by the Minister of Youth and Sports.

"The President decided that the implementation of PON XX and Peparnas XVI which will be held in October is postponed to October 2021," said the Minister of Youth and Sports, Zainudin Amali.

Therefore, Loupatty emphasized that the press and media should really check and check before conveying information to the public.

"Who said PON was postponed, who said PON could be postponed, there was no PON delay. All decisions are in the hands of the President, not any minister. PB PON XX, said Loupatty, is still preparing organizers normally, although technical preparations are being carried out in anticipation of the Covid-19 pandemic.
