A meatball maker in Intan Jaya Papua was brutally hacked by a KKB

A meatball seller with the initials AS (50 years old) in Yokatapa Village, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Papua Regency, was stabbed by an unknown person causing the victim to be seriously injured, Sunday, April 18, 2021.

The incident started when an unknown person came using a red Megapro Honda motorcycle from the direction of Bank Papua KCP Sugapa.

Then the perpetrator stopped in front of the kiosk owned by the victim who was selling meatballs around, suddenly the perpetrator pulled out the machete that was inserted in the back of the perpetrator's shirt and stabbed the victim, then the perpetrator fled to the back of the Sugapa District office, Intan Jaya Regency.

"Due to this incident, the victim suffered a slash wound on the left back, right chest slash, left hand and right hips," said Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police, Kombes Pol. Ahmad Musthofa Kamal, Monday, April 19, 2021.

Kamal explained, the stabbing of this meatball maker was witnessed by the surrounding community, and immediately took him to the Bilogai Puskesmas, Intan Jaya Regency using a four-wheeled vehicle, a Pick Up car.

After the victim arrived at the Bilogai Health Center, he immediately received further treatment by medical personnel.

According to Kamal, the case had been handled by the Sat Reskim of the Intan Jaya Police. After the incident, the situation was safe and conducive. Currently, field personnel continue to increase patrols around Sugapa City.

"The victim's condition is currently in a conscious state and it is planned that today the victim will be evacuated to Timika / Nabire, still waiting from the victim's family," said Kamal.
