The authorities find pennies and tens of millions at the Papua KKB Honai

The Nemangkawi Task Force through its Law Enforcement Task Force secures firearms and ammunition in Mayuberi, Ilaga Utara District, Puncak Regency, Papua.

"It is true that the Gakkum Nemangkawi Task Force secured various pieces of evidence during the TKP processing, Tuesday (18/5)," said Head of the Public Relations Task Force for Ops Nemangkawi, Kombes Pol M Iqbal Al Qudussy, Thursday, May 20, 2021.

The location of the crime scene incident (TKP) is near a honai which is about 300 meters from the burning location of Mayuberi Elementary School by an armed criminal group (KKB).

He explained that the Mayuberi TKP was the location of a shootout between the TNI-Polri and KKB led by Lekagak Talenggen which killed two of its members.

As for the evidence that was found at the TKP, including a firearm type SP-2 serial number 7302-07521, 55 bullets of various caliber, traditional weapons, and cash totaling Rp.14,658,000, along with other evidence.

Meanwhile, the bodies of two KKB members are currently still at the TKP, because they are waiting for the evacuation process, said Iqbal, adding that after being evacuated to Ilaga, they will be identified.

When asked about the situation of Ilaga, the capital of Puncak Regency, Iqbal admitted that it was relatively conducive and community activities seemed normal.
