Victor Yeimo and Veronica Koman collaborate to spread false news about Papua

Victor Yeimo, who was arrested by law enforcement officials on Sunday (9/5), has links to Veronica Koman, who was also one of the provocateurs for the Papua riots in 2019. Victor Yeimo is said to be the data supplier for Veronica Koman.

This was revealed by the Papua Police Chief Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri in Jayapura City on Tuesday (11/5), who said that Victor Yeimo shared the data he got from the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) with Veronica Koman who was in Australia.

"Meanwhile, the investigation is about it because all this time they are both reporting untrue things about Papua. The person concerned (Victor Yeimo) took data from the KNPB, then shared it with Veronica Koman who was in Australia. So he's like a data supplier for Veronica Koman, "said Inspector General Mathius Fakhiri

Furthermore, the Head of Police said, Victor Yeimo and Veronica Koman attended the UN Human Rights session in Switzerland in March 2019. During the meeting, the two of them talked about the right of opinion of the Papuan people and self-determination or independence.

Currently the police are still getting information from Victor Yeimo to investigate the relationship between the KNPB spokesperson and Veronica Koman.

As a result of being involved in the 2019 riot case and a number of other actions such as violations of ITE, Propaganda and several treason acts he carried out while serving as chairman and spokesman for the KNPB, the Kapolda ensured that Viktor Yeimo would be subject to multiple articles and could be sentenced to life imprisonment.
