The Youtefa Bridge, which cost IDR 1.8 trillion, was built in 2015 and was inaugurated in 2019 and has a length of approximately 1,800 meters and a width of 17 meters, connecting the Hamadi area to Holtekamp.

Many people have passed the bridge which was formerly called Holtekamp, ​​both from Jayapura city to Skouw border and vice versa.

This is because the travel time from Jayapura City to the Skouw State Border Post (PLBN) will be faster than the original 1.5 to 2 hours to around 30 - 45 minutes. In addition to increasing connectivity, the Youtefa Bridge will also encourage the development of Jayapura City to the east, towards the Skouw area.

"To be closer, the community around Enggros Village is also where the surrounding tourism is increasing so that not only people passing through the border but also the economic development around the Enggros village on the Youtefa bridge is also expected to increase," he said.
