KKB/OPM and Separatist Sources of Conflict in Papua

Separatist groups in Papua must be eradicated because they are a source of conflict for the community. Their existence is very troubling, because they often commit atrocities beyond the limits of humanity, often even killing civilians. Eradication of KKB by TNI/Polri personnel so that the Papuan people can live in peace.

The problems that occurred because of the terror of the KKB, which is an armed organization under the OPM. They want to create an independent Papua, by means of violence. Even though buying illegal firearms is expensive, they are still doing it, because they consider Papua to be an occupied territory.

Of course they made a big mistake because if Papua (formerly Irian Jaya) became a province in Indonesia, it would not be an oppressed area. Because the evidence is that the natives of the Earth of Cendrawasih really love the Republic of Indonesia and they don't want to be invited to rebel and form the Federal Republic of West Papua, and raise the Morning Star flag.

The conflict in Papua has been prolonged, and has worsened due to provocations from separatist groups. In addition, the separatist group has penetrated into 2 things, namely politics and armed contact. They used both of them to make things even more chaotic.

Separatist groups became more violent when they were labeled as terrorists. Apart from making hoaxes about Papua and provocations on social media, they also act in the real world. Statistical data shows that in a period of 10 years, there were more than 118 cases committed by armed criminal groups. This figure is very sad because there are more than 10 cases in a year.

They opened fire on Istaka Karya workers, or terrorized the area around the mine in Tembagapura. The reason is that KKB feels that the land used for the mining complex belongs to them, even though there has been an official agreement between the mining company and the Indonesian government. So KKB can't just claim it.

Another case that occurred as a result of the KKB's atrocities was the shooting of a car belonging to the police. Even though they wanted to give basic necessities to the community, they got terror from the separatist group. It is possible that KKB thought they were conducting a mobile patrol.

It didn't just stop there, another terror also occurred in Bumi Cendrawasih, when KKB damaged a tower owned by a telecommunications company. When that happens, the cellphone signal will automatically disappear completely, because there is no transmitting tower. Even though the internet signal is really needed by students who are doing distance learning.

Hopefully eradicating KKB carried out by TNI/Polri officers will restore security in Papua more quickly. Measurable strict treatment of KKB is allowed, because they have interfered with state sovereignty. It is also a source of community conflict in Papua.
