Papua Provincial DPRD Rejects Acting Act, Receives Secretary of Regional Presidential Decree in Plenary

The plenary session of the Papua Province DPRD, which was attended by the Acting Secretary of the Regional Secretary, was rejected by the Chairperson of the DPRD and a number of other members.

The Papua Provincial DPRD wants the presence of a definitive Regional Secretary as a result of the Presidential Decree, namely:

"Until now it is still valid considering that there is no Presidential Decree on the cancellation and it is only related to the issue of the Papua Regional Secretary," said Fauzi

Fauzi as an HMI Activist asked the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia to immediately resolve the Papua Regional Secretary's conflict and immediately secure President Jokowi's Decree.

"So that the Papuan government can run normally and there will be no more prolonged conflicts," he said.
