Mimika Deputy Regent Wins Regional and Village Empowerment Motivator Award

Deputy Regent of Mimika Regency, Papua Johannes Rettob won an award as a motivator for regional and village empowerment.

Johannes Rettob received the Highlight News Award along with 27 other national officials and figures on Thursday (27/1/2022) at the Multipurpose Building of the Directorate General of Regional Development, Jakarta.

In a release received by Seputarpapua.com, it was stated that prior to the awarding, a National Seminar on Village Development Development was held, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Village Government Development, Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Ditjen Bina Pemdes Kemendagri) with the theme "Village Governance and Strategies for Accelerating Village Independence. Towards Community Welfare and Contribution to State Defense”.
 
The seminar was filled with a number of resource persons from Ministries and Academics, including from the Ministry of Home Affairs by the Directorate General of Pemdes Pemdes of the Ministry of Home Affairs as the Keynote Speaker, the Ministry of PDTT Villages, the Ministry of SOEs, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, and the Indonesian Ministry of Defense, and Academics/Experts/Experts (Resources) guided by Beby Kristami (National TV Presenter).

The Highlight News Award 2022 is the third time this award has been held. The award this time is entitled "Anugerah Figure Motivator and Inspiration of the Nation 2022".

This appreciation is given based on the achievements made by a number of State Officials, Regional Heads, Entrepreneurs, Community Leaders, and Academics whose innovation work programs are felt and in direct contact with the community.

The Chief Editor of Sorot News, Saripudin Ranex, said that the evaluation of the figures who received awards was carried out by the team
involving academics, Non-Governmental Organizations, National and Local Media which was observed for 2 years, and it is quite difficult to determine.
 
From the list of nominations, the figures who won awards were the Minister of Home Affairs, Menparekraf, Minister of BUMN, Chief of Police, Director General of Pothan Kemhan RI, Governor of DKI Jakarta, Governor of West Java, Governor of Central Java, Governor of NTT, Governor of West Papua, Deputy Governor of West Papua, Regional Secretary of Papua West, Regent of Aceh Singkil, Regent of Kulonprogo, Deputy Regent of Mimika, Mayor of Subulussalam Aceh, Entrepreneur H. Wagus Hidayat, Yonas figure Alpons Nusi, Academician Prof. Owin Jamasy and a number of other figures.

Saripudin Ranex, who is also the Chairperson of the 2022 Sorot News Award Organizer, said that the awarding of Motivator and Inspirational Figures for 2022 is a form of appreciation and appreciation for Sorot News and the Indonesian people to these figures, which are assessed from several aspects.
