Pemkab Mamberamo Raya Initiates Road Connecting Inter-districts

The Mamberamo Raya District Public Works Agency (DPU) immediately started a connecting road with other districts in Papua. They are trying to make a route that passes through four districts in the estuary of the Mamberamo River.

The Head of the Mamberamo Raya Regency Public Works Agency, Albertus, said that his party had carried out a direct inspection of the location where the road would be built. The project will be carried out after the determination of the Mamberamo Raya Regency APBD for the 2022 fiscal year.
 
"The road that we will open for several districts in the Mamberamo estuary area, which so far can only be reached via the river, so that the existence of the road will certainly make it easier for the community to move and also have an impact on regional progress. And this road will also be connected to the national road in Sarmi Regency, precisely in Bonggo District," said Albertus, Friday (28/1).
 
During the site inspection and dialogue with the community in Anggreso Village, the community strongly supports the road construction program launched by the Regent John Tabo and his deputy, Ever Mudumi.

"For the planned road construction, purely using funds from the Mamberamo Raya Regency APBD, and in the following year, efforts are made for this road construction to receive support from the Ministry of PUPR through multi-year funds," Albertus added.

The announcement of the road construction will be attended by the Minister of PUPR. The activity is planned to be held in Anggreso Village, Central Memberamo District, Mamberamo Raya Regency.
 
Meanwhile, one of the community leaders in Anggreso Village, Yudas Sauniri, said that they had longed for an adequate road. However, their hopes have not been realized.

Residents are very happy with the review carried out by the Mamberamo Raya Regency Public Works Department. They are ready to support the road work.

"Our longing for an adequate road has finally been answered because through Mr. Regent John Tabo and Deputy Regent Ever Mudumi, the road we long for is ready to be worked on," said Yudas Sauniri, a resident.
 
As it is known, with the opening of the road, it is believed that the isolated areas will experience rapid progress and changes in various fields.
