According to him, the potential for sago in Papua is extraordinary, so Kadin deliberately made the visit to see the modern and sophisticated processing of sago flour. "It is necessary to use the sago forest in Papua without destroying the forest, so we are looking for investors who are not only concerned with business profits but also the balance of nature, and also continue to look for ways to think about sustainability," said Ronald.

He explained that Kadin was also thinking about the role of the local Papuan community, because he did not want the extraordinary potential of sago in Papua to be controlled by investors, but had to partner with the community so that there was a good economic cycle around the industry. "Many people actually do not feel anything and even become victims of development, for that for Kadin Papua the arrival of investors is the most important thing, it must have a positive impact," he said.

Ronald added that visiting a sago factory in Bangka Belitung is very important to get information before being invited to be a partner in building a factory in Papua, to work together to manage the vast potential of sago in Bumi Cenderawasih.

Previously, Kadin Papua visited a sago factory owned by PT Bangka Asindo Agri (BAA) in Kenanga Village, Sungailiat District, Bangka Belitung.
