Coverage of Covid-19 Vaccination in Merauke Reaches 93.56 Percent

The coverage of the Covid-19 vaccination in Merauke Regency reached 93.56 percent.

"As of today, the Covid-19 vaccination dose 1 has reached 93.56 percent or as many as 116,815 people," said the Head of the Merauke Health Service, Dr Nevile R Muskita to Tribun-Papua.com, Monday (21/3/2022) evening.
 
According to him, the achievement of Covid-19 vaccination in Merauke Regency is quite high. Including the Covid-19 vaccination dose 2, it reached 70.83 percent or 88,430 people. While the coverage of the Covid-19 vaccination dose 3 was 5.49 percent or 6,849 people.
 
“The people of Merauke are aware of the importance of vaccines. The government, together with the TNI and Polri, are also pushing for a vaccine attack," said Dr Nevile.
 
Kadinkes assesses the case of Corona Virus Disease has also decreased. Now there are 239 cases of Covid-19 and 33 people have recovered or completed isolation.

Although the spread of Covid-19 is in 11 districts of Merauke Regency, the number of patients has decreased drastically.

“I always say, don't slack prokes and get vaccines. That's all," he concluded.
