Both the security forces and the people of Sorong Raya who have been fighting for the expansion of the new autonomous regions.

"We really appreciate and thank the central and regional governments where the struggle has been for decades, we are very happy to accept the presence of the Southwest Papua Province whose position is in Sorong City," he said.
 
He said that the presence of the Expansion of the Province of Southwest Papua, whose center is in Sorong City, actually opens up space and opportunities to add workers, especially for students and unemployed in Sorong City, West Papua.

On this occasion, he also invited the entire community of Sorong Raya, to participate in providing support for the presence of the Southwest Papua Provincial government which is expected to be expanded in the future.

"Let's support this together so that it doesn't create a difference between the community and the local government," he said.
 
Fredy said this is a belief that must be accepted gracefully, so that the government's performance is more measured and the struggle for 19 years has not been in vain.

Fredy also told of his journey since 30 years ago, his task at that time was to distribute books to various schools located in remote areas. And what makes him very concerned is that the number of teaching staff in these remote areas is quite small, and can be counted on the fingers plus the school buildings are increasingly damaged and the health personnel are very minimal.

With this experience Fredy really hopes that the presence of the province of Southwest Papua in Sorong City means that they have shortened the range of their duties and responsibilities to the entire community and will not create pros and cons between one another.

So Fredy hopes that the presence of the Southwest Papua Province can boost various external paradigms and open up job opportunities, especially for Papuan sons and daughters.
 
"As a resident of Sorong City, I think this condition can be felt at the grassroots, so let's support this struggle, because we have experienced problems due to the fact that the provisions imposed by the central government have not been repealed. And now it has been revoked, so what are you waiting for, this is the time you have been waiting for," he explained.
