One of the government's difficulties in improving the welfare of the Papuan people is the vast territory.

Many Papuan people still live in remote and difficult to reach areas.

This is the reason why the Tabi Youth leaders who are members of the United Tabi Youth appreciate the expansion policy of the Central Government in expanding the Papua Province.

The Tabi Bersatu Youth includes Jayapura Regency, Jayapura City, Keerom Regency, Sarmi Regency, Membramo Raya Regency.

"We hope that the aspirations that have been pushed so far can be considered to be realized because for us young people, students and the Tabi community, we are ready to welcome this golden opportunity to develop our country," said Tabi Youth Leader, John Robert Manggo, in a statement received, Tuesday ( 22/3/2022).

Roma, John Robert Manggo's nickname, explained that in tracing the work team carried out on various debates as well as views and opinions obtained from various media sources, the Tabi community supported this strategic move.

"We can underline that the majority of youth and people in the Tabi area have the same view, we support the need for expansion in Papua Province, even more specifically, it has led to the importance of the expansion of Tabi Papua Province as a need that must be immediately prioritized by the Central Government," he said.

"As we all understand that the expansion of the province in Papua is a strategic step taken by the central government to improve the quality of the implementation of government duties, both in the context of service, empowerment and development towards the realization of an advanced, independent, prosperous, just and prosperous society. Roma explained that in essence the expansion of new autonomous regions was more emphasized on aspects of the government service approach in order to improve the welfare of the people in the expanded areas.

"The expansion of a region is a method or model of approach to accelerate and facilitate the acceleration of development in the region, and the newly formed autonomous region is an entity as a geographical, political, economic, social and cultural unit," he explained.

With regard to the need for development services, the Tabi Bersatu Youth representing all components of the Tabi Papua Youth and Students stated that they accepted the central government's policy to expand the province of Papua so that through this policy, Papua could be free from the shackles of inequality in all aspects of life that are obstacles to Papua's progress today.

"We invite Tabi Youth friends who are in Jayapura City, Jayapura Regency, Mamberamo Raya Regency, Sarmi Regency and Keerom Regency which are Tabi culture areas in Papua to sit down together to provide opinions and views on the dynamics of the division of this province," added Roma .

"At the same time with a critical mind, we can discuss so as to give birth to a common understanding of the provincial expansion plan initiated by the central government," he concluded.
