The verified honorary data in Jayapura Regency is 60 percent



The quota for Candidates for Civil Servants (CPNS) for Papua Province is set at 20,000 formations, and Jayapura Regency gets a quota of 1,000 formations. Of these data, as many as 600 verified data or 60 percent, and will be launched on 5 April.

Head of the Jayapura Regency Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM), Aleks Rumbobiar, said the 600 honorary staff consisted of general administration, management, accounting, teachers, and medical staff.
 
"Almost 99 percent of the honorary workers received will be distributed to every district in Jayapura Regency," said Aleks in Sentani, Tuesday (22/3/2022).

It is said, with the total acceptance of the new honorary staff, the total number of employees in the Jayapura Regency Government has reached 5,975 people. In accordance with the circular letter of the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Home Affairs, for a certain period of time, in the future there will be no more acceptance of CPNS in the scope of regional governments nationally.

Rumbobiar said, according to the regent's directive, data and documents for job seekers that had not been finalized had to be sorted out as soon as possible.

"The data entry is already at the State Civil Service Agency, we are just waiting for the results of the verification of the data, which is still lacking, this will be completed," he explained.

Meanwhile, the Jayapura Regent, Mathius Awoitauw said, honorary staff and those who have been appointed as Civil Servants (PNS) within the Jayapura Regency Government will be distributed directly to each district. This is related to the District Building program, Building Districts.

"There are 19 districts that oversee 153 villages, we need a lot of technical personnel at the lower level to help provide services to the community," he said.

Mathius added, with the potential of good human resources in every district and village, all information-based services, training, and empowerment can run well.

“The department just needs to divide the portion of work according to the fields and knowledge, as well as the abilities of the staff or employees. Thus, the absorption of information and knowledge through real work, also directly in the form of services to the community. Don't have too many employees in the regent's office, but nothing is done, just administration and reports are done at the regent's office," he said.
