Befa Yigibalom Claims, 90 Percent of La-Pago People Receive DOB

The Regent of Lanny Jaya Regency, Befa Yigibalom claimed that 90 percent of the people in the La-Pago Region received the New Autonomous Region (DOB).

This was conveyed by the Regent of Lanny Jaya Regency at his residence, Thursday (19/5/2022), after the celebration of the 10 Years of Leadership of the Regent and Deputy Regent of Lanny Jaya Regency, as well as the celebration of the inauguration of the Chairman of the Association of Regents in the Central Highlands of Papua (La-Pago). in Wamena.
 
Befa Yigibalom said the event on May 19, 2022 was an important moment for him to explain to the tens of thousands of people present about events and what would happen in Indonesia, especially in Papua Province and also towards the Central Highlands Province of Papua.

"Look at the attitude of the tens of thousands of people, not the one thousand two thousand who like demonstrations, even if there are tens of thousands who want to go down for demonstrations, they can do it," said Befa Yigibalom.

According to Befa Yigibalom, tens of thousands of people who were present in the open field in Honailama, did not know the cause and effect of the problem, because their presence in the open field was ready to accept the Central Highlands Province of Papua.

So, from what he saw in the open field in Honailama, Befa believes that basically 90 percent of the people of the Central Mountains accept the new autonomous regions.

So, he hopes that the Central Government, if you want to provide new autonomous regions in Papua La-Pago, please determine it in the not too distant future, but if the Central Government wants to provide new autonomous regions for Papua La-Pago, the central government is expected to provide it wholeheartedly.

This means that the Central Government must give full authority in accordance with the weight and dignity of the State, because the Central Mountains Province will be a barometer for other provinces specifically in Papua, so that the central government's budget regulations must be clarified, the apparatus funds must be clearly close to 1 trillion, Infrastructure funds must be 1.5 trillion and economic and health funds must be 1 trillion, so the allocation of funds for the Central Mountains Province must be 5 trillion.

"Because the language at the center of the people already knows that this is to speed things up and for the welfare of the people, if this doesn't happen then the people of La-Pago will note that the Central Government is lying," said Befa Yigibalom.

According to him, so far the veil of darkness between the pros and cons of the new autonomous regions has become clear, so it can be said that the people in the Central Mountains accept the Papuan Central Highlands Province.

Befa admitted that the people in Jayawijaya and the Central Mountains wanted change and were ready to accept the changes made by the central government.

"The following are those in the Papua Province, Mr. Governor and his staff, Mr. MRP DPRP, whose name are you using to reject the division of the province, the big people have seen it," said Befa Yigibalom.

Befa said that the people in La-Pago already understood, so he claimed that 90 percent of the people supported the new autonomous regions, so the central government immediately ratified it.
