Establishment of Papua New Guinea Mountains Drives Community Welfare

Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) John Wempi Wetipo hopes that the establishment of the New Autonomous Region (DOB) for the Papua Mountains Province can encourage welfare for the community. The central government, said Wempi, continues to make efforts to prepare the formation of the new autonomous regions carefully so that the welfare of the Papuan people will be increased.

Therefore, his party invites various elements of society and leaders in Papua Mountains to welcome the formation of new autonomous regions properly. "I think let's welcome this well, okay? We are players (actors for development in mountainous Papua) so that we get greater benefits," Wempi said in front of the media crew after visiting the Wamena Mall, Wednesday (27/7/2022) night .
 
According to Wempi, the existence of the new autonomous regions is a golden opportunity for generations in Papua Mountains to be able to obtain better welfare. Therefore, his party continues to invite parties in mountainous Papua to support the existing development process.

Wempi added that his party, on behalf of the central government, had high hopes regarding the formation of the mountainous Papua New Guinea. The hope is mainly so that the community can be more prosperous and live prosperously. He is optimistic that in the future, as time goes by, people will feel prosperity through the impact of the new autonomous regions of Papua Mountains Province.

For this reason, Wempi again invites related parties to jointly support the new autonomous regions of Papua Mountains Province. "I invite all apparatus, both TNI, POLRI, ASN, let us unite to work harder to bring change and prosperity expected by the community," he concluded.
