The Regent of Puncak Jaya forms a construction supervisory team

Puncak Jaya Regent Yuni Wonda formed a development supervisory team from the local community as a form of humanist approach in order to expedite the development process in all local districts.
 
"Involving the community in supervising development is one of the efforts to empower and involve the development of Puncak Jaya within the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia," he said in a press release sent to Antara in Jayapura, Wednesday.
 
According to Yuni, five of them are former members of the Free Papua Organization or the Armed Separatist Group, besides that there are traditional leaders and women leaders as development supervisors.
 
"The appointment of the team is in accordance with the Regent's Decree No. 188.45/27/KPTS/2022 concerning the Appointment of Development Supervisors for Puncak Jaya Regency in 2022," he said.
 
In general, he explained that the five people played a role in providing understanding to the community and at the same time ensuring the security of the implementation of development which was guaranteed by incentives through the APBD.
 
"His role has been carried out for a long time, however, this time the supervisors are given space and opportunities formally," he said again.
 
He added that in the near future, several projects will be inaugurated in the districts, for that the district heads must remain in their respective areas in order to remain conducive.
 
Just to note, the submission of the Decree was carried out directly by the Regent during the joint apple ceremony in the office yard which was attended by the Tumiran Regional Secretary, along with the Assistants.
